  • Fairy Garden Umbrellas are an easy craft to make to use in your Fairy Gardents. A few years ago my family and I enjoyed spending time together to make some fun fairy gardens with the kids. We have of course long since upgraded a little bit, but this year I decided to make a fun Umbrella for our next Fairy Garden. While the Umbrella is ready the rest of the fairy garden is not, but there is still lots of Spring and Summer left so I’m sure it will be ok. Making a Fairy Garden Umbrella is fun, easy and the possibilities are endless.

    Directions:
    1. Begin by snipping the paper straw in half. You want it to be short and size appropriate for the fairy garden.
    2. Remove the silk flower from the stem. Just snip it right off. You will only need the bloom for this portion of the craft and can discard the stems or save them for something else.
    3. Add a generous amount of hot glue to the end of the straw. Press it into the center of the flower. Allow it to dry.
    4. The fairy garden umbrella is now ready for your fairy garden and can be stuck directly into the soil or moss.

  • Make rainy days colourful and fun with this beautiful, colour changing petal fairy umbrella. This lightweight children’s umbrella features little fairies and flowers. When the material gets wet, colour appears on the design; the petals and fairy wings are filled with colour, and the background is filled with polka dots. With an easy to use push and pull base to open and close the umbrella, and plastic covering the spokes and top of the umbrella for safety, this unique umbrella is perfect for little ones to use at school or on rainy days out.
